Wedding Day!

“Now join your hands, and with your hands your hearts."
William Shakespeare

The Wedding Elves worked their magic for the big day...

A beautiful bride...

A proud auntie...

The ceremony was perfect...

Family and friends came together to celebrate...

My brother gave the best Father of the Bride toast I've ever heard (and I mean in the movies or in real life)!!!
He had everyone's attention...
(this is my sister-in-law also mother of the bride and my sister, such a great moment)...

Lots of applause and not a dry eye in the house...

Some of my favorite pics of the day...

This may have been my favorite time of the whole day. We had our own impromptu after party. Everyone was gone except this small handfull of some of my favorite people: my twin nephews Kevin and Karl along with Kevin's girlfriend Jessica, Karl's wife Molly, my husband Gary, Brother-in-law Stuart, sister Sis, brother and Father of the Bride Dan, sister-in-law and mother of the bride Nancy... We opened another bottle of wine, another champagne, made some chicken quesidillas, lit some candles, made some coffee and closed the place down...

Thank you Tamar and Charles for letting us be such a big part of your special day! We love you... Aunt Laurie & Uncle Gary...

Wedding week...

"Hark! The merry chimes are pealing,Soft and glad the music swells,Gaily in the night wind stealing,Sweetly sound the wedding bells."- Eliza Cook

It's Wedding Week at "Aunt Laurie's!" My beautiful niece Tamar and her true love, Charles, are tying the knot this Saturday at our house... (Photo from Blissed Out Photography).

The wedding elves worked their magic sometime in the night and brought these...

and this... "Let us celebrate the occasion with wine and sweet words."- Plautus

I wonder what they'll do next...

Kindred Roses Flea Market

Once again Debbie and I are amazed at the warm, generosity of the people we meet at the shows we're in. Julie and Christa outdid themselves hosting the Kindred Roses Flea Market this past Saturday. Julie is always ready to greet you with the kind of hug that makes you feel like the most special person in the whole world and Christa's gentle spirit spreads calm everywhere she goes. We love these ladies!!! Thank you for inviting Worthy Goods to be a part of your show...

More people we love, this is Jennifer from Barking Dogs...

Meet Kimberly from truly scrumptious, the name says it all! We went crazy over all the beautiful goodies and her rosemary, lavender infused lemonade...

More fabulous new friends, Crystal and Debi... this was their first show and I thought they had been doing this forever!!!
This gorgeousness was in their booth, I loved it so much it made my stomache hurt! Guess what came home with me...

Another new and very talented friend, Erin from Rickety Picket ...

more favorite people... Lisa (on the left) from Junk Between Us Girls and her partner Peggy, (not pictured) helping shopper's; Joe (Barn House) and Isabel (Maison Duce)...

So many beautiful things to see...

this "deconstructed" wedding dress had a little fun when these guys pulled up...

Meet Ascot, Amanda and Mr. Black...

Mr. Black, the driving instructor was coerced into stopping at Kindred Roses by his extremely enthusiastic students, Ascot and Amanda... They just had to see this dress...
They whirled in and whirled out (did that really happen)...

Debbie and I had a great day and are glad you shared it with us...

Worthy Goods will be hosting the first Annual Camas Vintage Street Faire in the beautiful tree-lined streets of downtown Camas, WA. Mark your calendars for September 19. We'll keep you posted with all the details!

Enjoy the summer...
