Field Trip

Recently my friend Pam introduced me to the happiest little gourmet candy and popcorn shop located in downtown Milwaukie, Oregon. Meet Kim the proud owner of Enchante....

Kim has a wonderful talent for creating eye candy as well! Her shop has an irresistable Parisian twist which draws one in from the street. Just look at the view and we're not even in the front door yet!!!

The rows and rows of candy and popcorn could put a smile in even the grenchiest, grumpiest heart...

Kim has an incredible talent for artful displays and choosing seasonal items just begging to be taken home...

This one jumped in my bag...
and now sits proudly in my home...

Other treats followed me home as well, including a bag of white chocolate popcorn. Sooooo good...

Enchante is located at: 10821 SE Main Street, Milwaukie, OR 97222 *** 503-654-4846

One more peek...

It's definitely worth a trip!!!

Camas Vintage Street Faire

"I am sure it is a great mistake always to know enough to go in when it rains. One may keep snug and dry by such knowledge, but one misses a world of loveliness". ~Adeline Knapp

This quote is so true of all the adventurous shoppers who came out in the rain for the Camas Vintage Street Faire last Saturday. The vendors did a fine job creating "a world of loveliness" for all of our shoppers!!!

Some of our favorite people came out to visit ...

They brought the sunshine with them...
A huge hug and thank you to all the vendors who created a beautiful place to shop, visit and enjoy the day! The vendors who joined Worthy Goods include... Gifty Chix, Barking Dogs,
Ormolulu, Sparrow, Rickety Picket, Duchess, Sharon Whiting & Pam Waddel, Belva & Doni, Max and Lucie, Truly Scrumptious, At Home Antiques, Dwell, Junk Between Us Sisters, My Shabby Passion, Maison Douce, Maui Waui and Kindred Roses... Wow what a stellar line-up!!! In saying all of that, I have to give another big thank you to JoAnn from Camas Antiques who sponsored the event. She is a joy to work with!!!

It was a great day... the rain, the shoppers, sunshine, friends, family and vendors all combined made it a memorable experience!!!

First Annual Camas Vintage Street Faire!

Worthy Goods is up to something new! Over the past two summers Debbie and I have been busy learning the ropes of starting a new business. It's been a blessed, fun and crazy ride. There have been tears of laughter, frustration, elation, exhuastion, giddiness... and we love it all!!! We often say that we are suffering from "new experience overload"! In fact we have enjoyed participating in Barn House, Kindred Roses, Monticello and Vintage Secrets events so much that we have decided to host a show of our own!

Working together with JoAnn Taylor of Camas Antiques, Worthy Goods presents the first annual Camas Vintage Street Faire!!!

The Street Faire will be held on the beautiful tree-lined streets of downtown Camas, Washington on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00am-4:00pm. We have a fabulous lineup of 20 hand selected vendors who have many treasures just waiting to be taken home! No proper Street Faire would be complete without Kettle Korn, so we have that too!

There will be two walking tours starting at the Mill and taking you on an historical tour of downtown Camas. What a great way to learn about this quaint little town...

If you're curious about the value of the antiques in your home, Gary Germer, antiques appraiser will be giving appraisals for up to two items with a $5 donation ...

Grab your walking shoes and your shopping bag and join us at the first annual Camas Vintage Street Faire...
