Babies in the Coop

It has been very exciting at Miller Ranch the past few days. Two of my broody hens were busy keeping their eggs cozy and warm. Take a peek at what they gave us...


this sweet little chick is still in the shape of her egg...

now she looks like this...

then she was joined by another...


and another...


we're up to five babies with two left to hatch...


so sweet...

Oh, how cute! I'd love to try and get mine to hatch eggs, but we still have no rooster. I love to hear a rooster crow, but for some reason Randy doesn't want a rooster! That would be rewarding to raise your own itty bitty chicks! karen

don't show this to jermonne he will cry his eyes out!! I love the black and white photos and the shaped-like-his-egg baby... that is just the sweetest fluff ever! they seem to all have zebra stripes.... adorable!
