I was at my computer earlier this morning and happened to look out the window. There was a tinge of pink reflecting off the pond. With the realization that it had to be actual sunshine I grabbed my camera and ran to the front of the house. This is what greeted me...
Kind of makes me long for this...
What a beautiful way to start the day!

Lauri-how beautiful! Even though I did not wake up to such a wonderful sunrise when looking at your pictures-I did!
You are so right, our Mt Hood is breath taking, it feeds my soul, I feel so much a part of it. I grew up in Hood River, so she has always been there for me so many times during my life. How lucky you are to get such a great view out your door. I can see her when I drive down our private road, but it is just a small portion. Hugs to you. Florence
A beautiful bit of "God light" for this morning. (Saw the beautiful sky this morning ... but we don't see Mt. Hood unless we drive a few blocks ... and even then it is not NEARLY as fabulous as your view!)
Thanks for sharing!
Hugs!
Betty :)
I saw it and it was amazing. Your camera caught it perfectly.
Enjoy your day my friend

Who-a...that is gorgeous! Nicely captured, friend. You have such an incredibly location out there--I was so impressed by the beauty of your "compound" :)
Missing you---look for an invite to craft with the ladies...soon, soon!

I can't agree more! I am getting ready for the greenhouse to start, which makes the winter months better. I'd take snow, for January, but it had better turn to spring in February! What a beautiful scene you captured!
I enjoyyed reading your post
