Linda and Dixie of Funky Junk Sisters put on a great show in Hillsboro, Oregon a few weeks ago. Click on the picture below to read more...
While shopping at the show Debbie and I met a fabulous group of ladies from Texas. We talked, laughed and shared stories. We couldn't help but fall in love with these warm hearted Texans!
A few days later while shopping at one of my favorite haunts I saw this lady and she looked so familiar... I overheard her saying she was from Texas and realized that it was Leanne (pictured center) one of the warm hearted Texans from the Junk Salvation show!
After a great conversation with Leanne and her son we discovered that Leanne's daughter-in-law teaches at the charter school across the road from my house which is out in the country and basically in the middle of nowhere!
What are the chances? Yes. This fantastic, crazy, junking world is very small indeed...
These lovely Texan's call themselves the Rodeo Queens and host an event called Petticoats on the Prairie in Ira, Texas.
What a fun coincidence!
Thanks to my sweet friend and photographer Lara Blair for the use of her photos...

I'm from Texas and thought I had heard just about every show there was here, but I haven't heard of them. I'll have to check this out. Thanks for posting about them.
I met Leanne - she was a sweet heart. I'd have to say you were meant to meet her - what a small world:)
