A few weeks ago, I went on my first photo shoot with Robin from Bird Tweets. I was in charge of the location, so I chose an old cemetery by my house. Here we go...
Who was this little baby...
The engraving is so beautiful...
I loved these names...
Just in case you're in the market for a plot this is a smokin' good deal...
There are more pictures involving horses, I'll share those in part two!
Have a happy day...

Neat pictures Lor. Is this cemetery out by the old, country church that starts with a V?

What beautiful photos, Laurie! I love them! I see embroidery inspiration in so many of them. Wow is that beautiful stonework. One of the headstones looks like it says "Ursula"... which is my mom's name. Who is very much alive, thank goodness! :o)
your site is looking marvelous!! i love the swirled leaves/plants overlapping the layers of the page. very artistic! i am happy to see you post some of your photos from the day. i especially love the two stones with the names. that was a brilliant observation on your part. me? i didn't even notice. see? that's why going on photographic adventures with friends is always a learning experience. i'm so glad we did this together and i am looking forward to doing it all over again. actually i was thinking last night "coffee with lori this thursday or friday?" let me know :)
XO
