It's That Wedding Time of Year

Don't you just love wedding season! It's even better when your nieces and nephews start getting married. My niece Tami is getting married at our house this August and I am making the dress. We are using a 1950's vintage pattern and it's turning out exactly like Tami wanted! I've been taking pictures at all the fittings and will share the before, during and after pictures with you in August!

My nephew Karl is also getting married in July and we recently attended a shower for Molly, his bride to be...

No shower is complete without family... from left to right, Nancy(sister-in-law), Me, Mom (grandma and pastor), Sis (mother of the groom), Chelsea (my daughter)...

friends...

really cute babies...

great food...

oh, and don't forget the gifts...

even the view was great...

Wishing you a bright future Karl and Molly...

Love,
Aunt Laurie

Love the pictures Lor. Will you email me the one of all of us so I can make a copy? Molly is so beautiful and we are blessed to have her joining our family!!

Thanks for inviting me to Tami's last fitting. Those were moments I will never forget. My daughter, you, making my oldest grandchild's wedding dress from her mother's dress. I was with her mother and grandmother when they picked out that exquisite fabric for Nancy's dress. Tami is as beautiful as her mom was 30 years ago.
I so appreciate your amazing creativity.
Love, Mom
