I also made my first trip to the Palmer Wirfs Antique & Collectible Show at the Clark County Fairgrounds. I found a few treasures and this one is my favorite! I have never seen a vintage 'sock monkey' pattern, although this is tattered and torn, I had to have it!!!
this one too...
and this sweet little box...
and this old wood carrier with a great worn handle...
The wood box didn't come with the stuff inside... That is for the Barn House season opener on May 9th. Debbie and I (Worthy Goods) will be there! Mark your calendars!
Hope you had a great weekend!!!

looks like you found some great stuff. i can't wait to actually come to a barn house event and see it in real life instead of just in pictures. i bet it will be spectacular!
I love your finds too, Laurie! What are the things in your carrier box? I can tell that one side are buttons hand-sewn on cards, right? My daughter does that, too much patience for me LOL. But what are on the other side? They look really intriguing to me. Whatever they are, the look perfect in the carrier! Karen
amazing find...love the monkey...you were so lucky...the pattern looks great...please make it up and show us...
What wonderful treasures you found! Oh I wish I lived closer so I could come.
Not sure why you announced that box will be at the sale...you know WE are going to snatch it up for our home collection before it sees the light of day! I really missed seeing you too...Did Debbie tell you I almost broke her one good rib hugging her? I haven't seen you for soooooooo long!! Hope we can get together soon...

that is a great interpretation of a snow person! i wasn't here visiting for more than 2 minutes and saw the BH boy's comment and went wandering off task over to their place. then upon my return i saw that wood box at the bottom (with your fabulously hand dyed tags in it) and i knew you had decided you and debbie were in for the spring! good :)
